Jordan Brown was ejected in the first inning of a game in the Venezuelan Winter League for arguing a strikeout.

Brown never made it out to his position in left field for Caracas in a 3-1 win at Zulia. As the third batter in the first inning, he was out on strikes, complained, and tossed by plate umpire David Arrieta.

The strikeout lowered Brown's average to .242 in 11 games for Caracas. It was his seventh strikeout compared to nine walks. He also has one homer, one triple, two doubles, four runs and four RBI.

Brown won the batting championship in the Triple-A International League this summer at Columbus, hitting .336 with 15 homers, 35 doubles and 67 RBI in 111 games.
