| Muhlbach is a walk-on who appears to have been a player who slipped through the recruiting cracks. Muhlbach was a standout in Lufkin, Texas and decided to pay his own way at Arizona rather than take smaller school offers.
He’s got nice size and athleticism and is a good scorer. He scored 20.0 ppg in high school and has held his own in pick-up games. He’s a terrific shooter and is deadly from long range. He’s also shown enough athleticism to get to the rack and is a nice finisher on fast breaks.
He’s a versatile athlete and that will greatest benefit this year’s team in practice situations. Muhlbach has a chance to see time later in his career, but will likely be a practice player only this season. He looks athletic enough to develop into a nice story, but how far he progresses still remains to be seen.
