| Iguodala is one of the most athletic players ever to wear an Arizona uniform and could be poised to be one of the best players period in school history. All reports are that Iguodala has made great strides since the end of the summer and could be ready for a breakout season.
Iguodala’s greatest improvement has been in his outside shooting. If what has been witnessed in pick-up carries over into the regular season, then Iguodala may be one of the toughest match-ups in the nation. Iguodala has been deadly from behind the arc and his mid-range game has been consistent. His improved shooting will make the speedy wing a bear to guard. Give him too much room and he’ll drain it, play too close and he’ll blow by you.
Another great asset is his passing ability. While not quite as good a passer as Luke Walton was from the small forward spot, Iguodala is still one of the best passing forwards to come through the program. Don’t be shocked if the Cats use him as they used Walton, running a lot of the offense through the sophomore.
Iguodala may also be forced to play some minutes at power forward. The team is thin inside and the Wildcats may need his athleticism and rebounding down low.
