Biography:
The Cats need Fox to step up this season. He’s the Wildcat who is best suited to banging in the post and will be counted on to be a key contributor inside. The Cats are very thin on the inside and it is Fox’s time to shine. He will get his first chance to be a full-time starter and is poised to have his best season to date.

Fox has done the necessary work this offseason and is not resting on the fact the Cats lack quality big men. Fox has shed a good deal of weight and looks as good as he has since moving to Tucson. The loss of weight has made Fox more mobile and it appears that his vertical leap is better as well.

Fox has always been best close to the hoop, but in the preseason he has shown some decent range from about 15 feet. He’s been aggressive on the boards and could make a living with put-backs. His frame allows him to get great position on both ends of the floor. The Cats must have him matching up with opposing wide-bodies. Those players gave the Wildcats fits last season and Fox is the only one on the roster who is suited to those types of battles.

Fox will also be counted on to be a leader. Fox has a very engaging personality and is the type of outspoken veteran this team needs in a leadership role.
