| Marcus Maxwell joins the Ducks via Diablo Valley College in California. Maxwell is a tall possession-type receiver his JC coach describes as “fearless.” Although last year he was only able to rack up 42 receptions for 601 yards and seven touchdowns, he suffered from circumstances where his team had to field a wide receiver as a quarterback, which limited passing production. Maxwell is a mature personality on and off the field who demonstrates a great sense of humility, never the showboat. He stands 6-3, weighs 200 pounds and reportedly runs a 4.55 second forty-yard dash. He is a national Two-Star recruit by theInsiders.com and was offered scholarships by San Diego State and Missouri before choosing Oregon. |
