| Jackson Powell finished his junior season (11-2) with 65 tackles, 11 sacks and one interception. He benches 250-pounds, squats 360 and has a 29-inch vertical jump.
Partial senior (4-1) stats: ten tackles and two sacks.
Powell says he'd like to major in plant science or zoology. He took Algebra II during the summer and reports a 3.0 core GPA and a 1500 SAT.
Powell: "I have great speed and agility. Those are my main strengths. I'm told I have good quickness and that I attack the ball well. I play with a lot of aggressiveness."
Powell says he'd like to improve his "hand movement," and "getting to the quarterback better."
