| Dunn, who was refered to by the Arizona coaching staff as "THE sleeper recruit in the country", was the fourth and final signee in the Wildcats' 2002 class.
Over his four years at New Mexico's Hobbs HS, Dunn's teams combined for a record of 101-9 including three straight state championships. Dunn brings a winning attitude to Arizona.
As a senior, the 6-7,180-pound Dunn averaged 17.4 points, 12.3 rebounds and four blocks per game while shooting nearly 60% from the field (52.1% from three-point range).
Because he is so thin, redshirting to add muscle and strength is a strong possibility. He will play mostly power forward in college although he an explosive athlete ("might be the best that we've ever had at Arizona", one Wildcat assistant said about Dunn) and can play the three as well. |
