| Biography: |
| Bio: Walk-on who happens to be the grandson of Lute Olson. Olson and Brase are the only grandfather/grandson combination in D-I basketball. Brase is a great practice player whose smarts help the coaches prepare for opposing teams. He’s the first Tucson-area player on the roster since John Ash in 2001. He played in just 11 games last year, almost all of the action coming in mop-up duty. He wears No. 30 to honor former Wildcat forward Justin Wessel. Had career-high three points against Oregon State on January 22nd. Averaged 14.6 ppg and 6.0 rpg at Central Arizona.
Type of player: Brase is an undersized power forward who has a decent stroke from the outside. He’s not the most athletic player, but his smarts make him a great practice asset for the Cats. He was good enough to play at many smaller schools, but chose to ride the bench at Arizona to be a part of a nationally prominent program.
