| Biography: |
| Bio: Stoudamire enters his fourth and final season in a Wildcat uniform. He has been an on-again, off-again starter since his freshman year. The cousin of former Wildcat Damon Stoudamire, Salim is arguably the best shooter to come through Arizona since Coniel Norman. Stoudamire has battled ankle injuries and attitude problems, but both are supposedly behind him. He’s among the best outside shooters in the nation. When he is on few players can slow him down. He’s also one of the team’s best defenders and routinely gets the toughest defensive assignments.
Type of player: Stoudamire is an undersized two-guard with one of the deadliest outside shots in all of college basketball. He’s a terrific defender who has a habit of getting in opposing players’ heads. He’s very quick and is a decent ball-handler. The left-hander can get into the lane and do some damage, but prefers to gun from the outside. He tends to get very moody, especially when things aren’t going well for him.
