| Biography: |
Joe Longacre was the leader of the offensive line that set the Katy Tigers apart from the rest as they surged to the 5A Division II State Championship. Longacre and the O'line paved the way to the state championship for the 15-1 Tigers.
The Tiger offensive line line helped Katy running back James Aston rush for 1,996 yards and 24 touchdowns while averaging almost six yards per carry on the March to the Alamo Dome. In addition, fullback Bryan Thompson averaged almost eight yards per carry.
