Week 5 saw little movement in the polls. USC still reigns supreme while Stanford is still firmly locked in the conference basement. The Cardinal did pick up some votes on the Wildcats who remain the only Pac-10 team to yet record a victory over a Division I opponent this season.

USC, California, Oregon and
Arizona
State still hold the top
four spots in this week’s poll.
Oregon,
the only school to post a road victory last weekend, looked impressive while the
Trojans, Bears, Sun Devils and Bruins also played well in winning at
home.
UCLA’s victory over
Washington was
good enough to move them one spot ahead of the Huskies as the Bruins are now the
only Pac-10 team to already have two conference
wins.
Washington takes the sixth spot and is followed by Oregon State, Washington
State, Arizona
and Stanford.
In what was the second
official week of conference play, fans saw the top five Pac-10 teams beat the
bottom five teams across the board.
