SCOUTING REPORT: Glyndon is a smart and shifty athlete. He has good speed and good field vision but he is not the most patient runner. He has great raw athleticism which may carry him over to the defensive side of the ball down the line at either safety or cornerback. He is a very smart player which would also lead to a possible position change. There is no doubt that he will get his first shot at running back, but his future may be in the secondary.

Needs to Work on…Strength, Physical Maturity and Patience

Like Robinson, Bolasky has a tendency to out run his blocking. Developing patience to go with his field vision may keep him at running back. He is fit and strong for his size but he needs to get even stronger and he needs to physically mature, which simply takes time.

Projected Role for 2006:

100% to Red Shirt. He will get his initial shot at running back in 2006. Whether he is moved to defensive back or stays at running back, he needs a definite red shirt year.

BIO: One of two Tucsonans in the class. Bolasky was the State’s Gatorade football Player of the Year, joinng Daniel Borg as the UA’s second straight recruit in a row to win the award. In addition he was the Tucson Citizen and Arizona Daily Star All-Southern Arizona Player of the Year. He was also an AzPrep.com All-State selection. He was a three-star recruit by Scout.com and their 70th rated safety in the class, although he will begin his Wildcat career at tailback.

Rushed for 1,760 yards and 22 last season. He helped lead Sabino to the Arizona 4A state title game at Arizona Stadium. Bolasky had 1,550 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior.
