Over a month ago, San Diego defensive tackle Christian Heyward visited San Diego, as the UA hoped to get more involved in his recruitment.

Now sources say that Heyward will likely take an official visit to Tucson and the Wildcats are right in the thick of things.

Many close to the recruitment feel UCLA is the leader and we have not heard anything to believe otherwise.

However, Nebraska and Arizona are doing a very good job in the recruitment and will seemingly get official visits as well. Arizona has done well with San Diego in the past and although the UA has solid depth at defensive tackle, Heyward would be in a position to contribute sooner than later.
