Mike Leach situation scary for UA

As a college football fan, your first inclination is to laugh at the fact that Mike Leach will likely be fired as Texas Tech’s head football coach in the next 24-48 hours.
As a college football fan, your first inclination is to laugh at the fact that
Mike Leach
will likely be fired as
Texas Tech
’s head football coach in the next 24-48 hours.
I mean, how can the administration be so stupid to let go of the best coach Lubbock has ever had? It’s so stupid it’s comical that the
Texas
Tech athletic department has messed this situation up to the point where Leach’s departure is all but inevitable.
But on second thought, it’s not so funny anymore. If Leach gets fired, the Red Raiders will immediately begin searching for a new coach. At this stage in the game, no one is available except…..
..…you guessed it. Sonny Dykes.
The son of legendary Texas Tech head coach Spike Dykes and one of the up and coming coaches in the country, Dykes becoming head coach of Tech makes perfect sense, and with the salary he would be offered to join the Red Raiders, he couldn’t say no.
So what’s this all mean?
If you’re an
Arizona
fan, stop laughing at the Texas Tech situation and start praying that they somehow get things resolved over there.
Sonny Dykes may end up going down as the best offensive coordinator Arizona has ever had. Losing him at this stage would be disastrous.
The most important thing that could happen to Arizona Football in the next month is Mike Leach staying at Texas Tech.
