Letter to Pac-10 refs
Tom Hansen

After Wednesday's debacle with the refs, Arizona fans are getting sick of having the outcome of the game taken out of the Wildcats' hands.

Dear Tom Hansen,

After Wednesday's debacle with the refs, Arizona fans are getting sick of having the outcome of the game taken out of the Wildcats' hands. However, it is not just Arizona. In fact, the level of Pac-10 refs has become embarrassing to all parties involved.

There has to be a reason why every school feels that Dave Libbey hates them. On Wednesday night he took the game out of the players' hands and put it into his own. I could go on and complain about this, but it would likely be a broken record. How many times over the years have you heard complaints about Libbey?

It is not just him, though. You had a video of an intentional foul sent in from the USC game. Intentional foul? Doubtful and just another in the long line of failures.

Like I said earlier, however, it is not just the Pac-10. Remember the Lawrence Hill block on Darren Collison last year? That was one of the worst calls in recent memory, but one in which Pac-10 fans truly can not be surprised at.

I could understand if you thought it was just Pac-10 fans thinking refs are biased. However, you should ask around. Other conferences know that the Pac-10 is the worst in both sports and it is starting to tarnish the conference reputation.

So what should you do about it?

Look around Mr. Hansen. Evaluate your conference as a whole and realize why it is starting to go downhill. Do something to make Pac-10 fans actually respect you again because, frankly, that respect is leaving fast.
