LB commits to Cats

The Arizona football program got some good news on Friday when a well regarded linebacker committed to the program.

Westlake, CA linebacker Trevor Erno committed to Arizona yesterday.

"Yes I did," Erno said when asked if he had indeed committed. "I loved everything about Arizona."

Erno is a three-star LB and rated as the #16 WLB prospect by Scout.com.

He visited Arizona on Thursday and Friday and after a day with the staff on campus he was ready to join Wildcat Nation.

"I really liked the staff," Erno said. "They are all real cool guys and good coaches."

Erno is being recruited by Coach Tuiasasopo and had high praise for "Coach Tui". "He's really cool, I like him."

Erno described himself as a "down wind linebacker" who is a "hard hitter", but says his game needs more work. "I need to get faster," he admitted. "I need to loosen my hip and be a more side to side player. This is the Pac-10, so I am going to be in pass coverage a lot."
