Arizona senior cornerback Antoine Cason became the second Arizona Wildcat to win the Jim Thorpe Award.

Antoine Cason, Arizona's outgoing senior leader on defense, has won the Jim Thorpe Award, given to the nation's top defensive back. Cason was with his family and Wildcats' Head Coach Mike Stoops.

Cason became the second Wildcat to win the honor, joining former Wildcat All-American Darryl Lewis who won the Thorpe Award in 1990.

Cason had 5 interceptions in 2007 and 15 for his career. He capped his senior season in Tucson by taking two of his interceptions back for touchdowns. Added to the two interceptions touchdowns, Cason had two punt returns for touchdowns in 2007 in his first year returning punts.

WildcatInsider.com Congratulates Antoine Cason on a great Wildcat career and the tremendously earned honor of being mentioned in the same category as the Great Jim Thorpe.
