Lute Olson has returned to the Wildcats, at least for one night. The Wildcat head coach was at practice on Monday night.

Lute Olson met with the team Monday before practice and then attended the Wildcats’ evening practice. This came after reports that he was around McKale Center after the team left for their weekend game against Kansas.

Word has it that Olson has made no final decision on his return, choosing to see how things go at the practice.

Olson took a leave of absence prior to the start of the exhibition season to attend to unspecified family matters.

Kevin O’Neill has served as interim head coach since Olson left. O’Neill refused to comment on Olson’s status.

The Wildcats have a media gathering scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, but there has been no confirmation if Olson will address the media.
