Another Homecoming win

For the third straight year the Wildcat football game came up with a big Homecoming win. For the second time in three seasons, Arizona Stadium was a house of horrors for the Bruins. Arizona downed UCLA 34-27.

After falling behind 14-10, the Wildcats scored the next 24 points and then held on to thwart a late UCLA rally.

UCLA's Osaar Rasshan came in to relieve the injured and ineffective Patrick Cowan and led the Bruins to 13 straight points, but was ineffective on his final two drives.

It was the second straight big game for Willie Tuitama. The UA junior was 21-35 for 339 yards and a trio of scores.

Nick Grigsby had a good game on the ground. A 60-yard touchdown run led him to a 124-yard rushing day.
