For the fourth straight year, the Arizona-Washington game ended in the final two minutes with a late score. The Huskies walked away with the win Saturday afternoon but not before Arizona quarterback Jason Johnson tore through the Husky defense for a new school passing record.

For the game, Jason Johnson amassed a school record 444 yards on 29-41 passing and three touchdowns. The old record, held by Tom Tunnicliffe, was 429 yards back in 1983.

Johnson, a senior, found his two favorite targets - Bobby Wade and Andre Thurman - for most of those yards, but hit eight different receivers on the day.

Wade another double digit reception day, pulling down 10 balls for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Thurman added nine catches for 142 yards and a score.

The UA QB completed nine passes for 20 or more yards and his lone interception on the day came on a pass that was deflected and probably should have been caught by Wildcat receiver Ricky Williams

. The 444 yards marked the second time this season that Johnson has eclipsed the 400-yard plateau this season.
