Westgate makes the call

Sean Westgate decided he didn't need to wait. Although he is rated as the 43rd best safety in the nation, he wasn't getting a ton of Pac-10 offers. After today those other schools needn't worry.

"I heard from most of the Pac-10 schools, but Arizona was the only one to offer me," Westgate said. "The others said they were going to wait, but didn't want to take a chance and lose out on an offer like this to Arizona. It is the place for me. I didn't want to take any chances."
