QB drawn to the spread

Any successful offense relies on solid quarterback play. That is even more true of the Wildcats' new spread offense. The pass happy scheme relies on quick reads and strong armed passers. Now that Arizona has committed to the offense, a number of quarterbacks are taking notice, including some from some unlikely locations.

The Wildcats do not often go to Arkansas to find recruits, but they are getting a long look from Greenwood quarterback Tyler Wilson. Wilson put up tremendous numbers in the spread offense last year and took notice when Sonny Dykes left Texas Tech to implement the scheme in Tucson.
