The Wildcats played a number of first year players this season. From true freshmen to junior college transfers, there were plenty of guys making their collegiate debuts and a more than a few made an impact.

Earl Mitchell The true freshman fullback did not put up huge numbers but was an invaluable member of the offensive. He was mostly used as a blocker at TE. H-back and FB but did get some touches, most notably the long touchdown catch against Oregon.
