One of the more highly noted recruits in the recruiting class of 2006 for Arizona has left the program and will not return.

Arizona running back signee Derke Robinson has made the decision to leave Arizona at the very start of his career.

Robinson has been granted his release from the University of Arizona and has returned to his home state of Texas for personal reasons.

Robinson was one of the more highly regarded prospects to sign with Arizona last February and it was thought that he would challenge for playing time as a true freshman.

Derke was not available for comment and the University will most likely have a statment from head coach Mike Stoops later in the day.
