Olson announced that Rodgers would be practicing with the team on Monday, but did not mention if Rodgers would play against the Bay Area schools this weekend.
Olson made the official announcement to the media Monday afternoon and Rodgers could be seen joking with teammates before the start of practice minutes after Olson’s press session.
Olson said that Rodgers has met all of the responsibilities that Olson outlined for him when the two met to discuss his initial dismissal.

Olson met with all of the players individually on Monday to discuss Rodgers’ return and said that the players were in favor of the move. Last week Hassan Adams mentioned that he and Rodgers spoke frequently and that he would like to see his fellow senior back on the squad.
“To a person his teammates thought it would be good to have him back,” Olson said.
Olson mentioned that Rodgers was in constant communication with the staff throughout the process and that he hoped that Rodgers would see the suspension as being part of the growing process.
Rodgers averaged 10.8 points a game in the 16 games that he played. He made 13 starts and was constantly praised as the team’s best on-ball defender.
The team was 5-3 in his absence, and 10-6 with Rodgers in the line-up.
Olson also indicated that J.P. Prince would be back in action after a one-game suspension for being late to a taping session. He chalked it up to poor communication.
