"I really liked it a lot," said the 6-foot-3 inch Mitchell. "The atmosphere was awesome and the crowd was really into the game the whole time, it was great."
Mitchell admitted that it was the biggest crowd he had ever seen and that if Arizona has that kind of support already then he knows this is where he wants to spend his college days.
"Man the atmosphere was just amazing," he said. "That was the biggest crowd I have ever seen and they were loud and really into the game. Talking to coach (Mike) Stoops and the rest of the guys there and coach (Josh) Heupel I know that is where I want to be. I like how they use the tight end and how the H-Back gets to knock people around. I like playing offense and I like to block people."
The 6-2, 245 pound Mitchell is a versatile athlete who projects to make an impact on the D-I level at as many as 5-6 different positions. He'll probably get his start at H-Back and may also see time as a tight end.
"I'm not opposed to playing any position, but I think I might like the H-Back/TE position," said the Texas Top 100 selection.
Mitchell comes from the strong North Shore program near Houston. It is the same school that current Wildcat Sean Jones graduated from and the same program that produced Chris Johnson, Michael Jolivette and Reggie Sampay.
