Position Coach: Eric Wolford
Returning Starters: Chris Johnson (12 starts), Keoki Fraser (12 starts), Kili Lefotu (12 games), Brandon Phillips (3 games), Tanner Bell (4 games), John Abramo (4 games)
Starters Lost: Reggie Sampay (graduation), Keith Jackson (Suspension)
Top Reserves: John Parada, Erick Levitre, Peter Graniello, Phillip Brown
Newcomers: Eddie Rollman (HS), Dillon Hansen (HS), Sheldon Watts (HS), Danny Espinosa (HS), Joe Longacre (HS), Bill Wacholz (HS)
Other Departures: Tom Robinson (left team), Phil Clark (left team), Ismail Garcia (academics)
Johnson and Fraser are fifth-year seniors, while Phillips is a sixth-year player. Lefotu, Bell and Parada all started as true freshmen, but Bell and Parada have battled injuries. Abramo, a former walk-on, filled in and was great at the end of last season. Graniello got a lot of reps this spring and should be in the mix. Of the newcomers, Hansen, Rollman and Wacholz seem the most ready to contribute.

Parada, Bell, Abramo and Phillips all missed time in the spring with injuries…Phillips may have to sit out some games because he signed with an agent before being granted the sixth year of eligibility…Coach John Peterson was supposed to coach centers and guard, but took a job at Ohio State prior to spring practice ending…Eric Wolford will now coach the entire line, after initially being hired to coach tackles and tight ends…Johnson, Fraser and Lefotu started every game, with Johnson and Fraser starting every game at the same position… Wacholz was a late signee, who didn’t get an offer until after he snuck into a JUCO combine and impressed coaches.
