Richie had 20 catches for 412 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior. On defense, he had 74 tackles and an interception.

Brockel has a written offer from Wyoming and Harvard sent him an early application which is as good as an offer.

At the camp, he showed good route-running ability and solid hands while also displaying better than average speed for a tight end.

Richie favors five schools. "I like Cal, Stanford, Harvard, Arizona, and Oregon," said Brockel. "I do not have a favorite."

He speaks about his UA visit. "I really liked the camp. The coaches were great and Coach Kish told me he definitely looks forward to watching me play this Fall and that they have a lot of interest in me. The facilities were great and the coaches and everyone around the program had a lot of enthusiasm."

Richie has now attened the UA and ASU one-day camps. He also went to the Stanford Nike Combine. He has no other camp plans at this time.

Brockel sizes up his skills. "I always hustle and never take a play off. On defense I fly to the ball and am very aggresive."

Schools are recruiting him as a tight end and linebacker and he does not favor one position over the other.

He carries a 4.0 core GPA and scored a 1090 on his SAT.
