Milpitas (Calif.) 2015 defensive end Jason Scrempos is being recruited by much of the Pac- 12, but two schools stick out the most.
“The two places that look really good to me are California and Washington," Scrempos said. "Both schools are on the West Coast and have new coaching staffs that are trying to put their own imprints on the program.
"Both places have been recruiting me pretty hard, so I’m looking forward to going out there and seeing everything in person.”
Although California and Washington are standing out right now, Arizona is pushing hard to get Scrempos on campus as well.
“Arizona has been in pretty steady touch with me," Scrempos said. "They want me to get down there and give the school and program a try. They’ve been pretty good with me, so I could see myself taking a trip down there.”
Meanwhile, Scrempos will continue to work on what he does well.
“Coaches like my size and they think that I can get bigger over time," he said. "I’m trying to improve that as much as possible before I get to campus.
"I feel at the high school level I can hold the edge pretty well, but it will be a different deal once I get to the next level and I know that.
“That’s why when I go on the visits I want to talk with the coaches about what they see my role being and what they think I need to improve on the most, so I can really meet my potential at the next level.”
