Silverdale (Wa.) Central Kitsap tight end Brion Anduze visited Arizona last week and that visit turned into a commitment. Read on to see why that is and more.

Silverdale (Wa.) Central Kitsap tight end Brion Anduze visited Arizona with an open mind on Friday, but even his desire to commit surprised him.

"Arizona was in my top three and Washington was probably my leader," Anduze said. "I kind of liked Tucson, but I had never been there.

"When I went on my visit, I knew I loved this place. That is when it became my top pick and then I sat down with Coach Rodriguez and everyone. It is hard to explain, I just had that feeling."

The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Anduze says that the coaching staff made the main difference in his decision.

"The biggest reason I committed is that I felt welcomed there," he said. "I knew it was the right fit off the bat. Halfway through the visit I knew I liked the coaches and they liked me."

Arizona made it a point to introduce Anduze to every coach he would be working with should he commit and the meeting made an impression.

"My dad and I sat down with Coach Rodriguez and we all bonded," Anduze said. "I really like Coach Rodriguez, Michalczik, Ragle, Dudek, all of them. I met every one and I like the whole campus, everything. Everything about Tucson I like."

In addition to the liking the coaching staff, Anduze was impressed with Arizona's pitch on how it will use him.

"They are going to use me as a tight end that can also split out and go in the back field a little bit," Anduze said. "We went over everything with Coach Ragle, but I like how they will use me in different ways."
