Naijiel Hale: St. John Bosco was down three at the half, but started the second half with 28 consecutive points to beat Orange Lutheran 42-24 on Friday night. Once again, Hale was not challenged in the win as teams continue to throw away from him.
Kaelin Deboskie and Cameron Denson: Salpointe Catholic remained undefeated with a 51-0 win over Vista Grande. Deboskie had two rushes for 14 yards and two catches for 28 yards. Denson finished with four rushes for 107 yards and a 35-yard touchdown and added one catch for 32 yards that also scored.
Trevor Wood: Scottsdale Chaparral defeated Phoenix Brophy Prep 44-10. Wood finished with 7 catches for 74 yards to lead the Firebirds.
Jeff Worthy: Santa Ana Community College defeated Orange Coast College 38-16 on Saturday. Worthy finished with seven total tackles, four of which came for a loss. He also came up with a sack and pass break-up as well.
Josh Pollack: The kicker converted his three extra point attempts and two of his three kicks went for a touchback. The only kick that did not was a squib kick, but he was also able to average 38 yards per punt. Pollack’s squad was down 20-14 with five minutes left when his pooch punt hit an opposing player, giving Pollack’s team the ball on the opposing 12. His team would eventually score and take the 21-20 win.
Patrick Glover: Glover scored on a 24-yard fumble return to help Scottsdale to a 60-21 win over Phoenix College. On the season, Glover has 30 tackles, five pass deflections, one forced fumble, two interceptions, and three touchdowns.
Nick Wilson: It was a big game for Wilson on Friday night as Central took on Clovis and came out with a 13-9 win. Wilson was the best player on the field, finishing with 158 yards on 18 carries. Wilson’s second touchdown was the game-winner, as he scored from 12 yards out with 1:11 left in the game.
Jamardre Cobb, Marquis Ware, Rodney Carr: Salesian stayed undefeated in league play, defeating Long Beach St. Anthony’s 64-37 on Friday night. Cobb scored on a five-yard touchdown run and Ware caught a 34-yard touchdown pass.
