Elite Juniors Add New Offers

Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe juniors Natrell Curtis and Jalen Brown well into double-digit offers

Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, AZ has been a busy destination amongst college recruiters over the past two years. This year senior offensive tackle Kenny Lacy racked up over 30 FBS offers before committing to UCLA. The 2014 class will keep Mt. Pointe head coach Norris Vaughan just as busy as he has two athletes that already have climbed to four-star status by FoxSportsNext, both of whom received a new offer today.

Offensive guard Natrell Curtis says, "Ohio State just offered me."

Add that to offers from Utah, Nebraska, Arizona, Nevada, Arkansas, Colorado, Arizona State, Montana, Vanderbilt, NAU and Boise State.

Curtis (6-3 290) could actually play on either side of the ball, starting both ways for the Pride. Curtis was recently named 2nd team All-D1 by the Arizona Football Coaches Association.

Two-way athlete Jalen Brown also tweeted that he received an offer from the Buckeyes.

Brown (6-2 170) had an outstanding junior as he was named the Gatorade Player of the Year after hauling in 68 receptions for 1,235 yards and 18 TDs. On defense he made 25 tackles and five INTs.

So far Oklahoma, Northwestern, Washignton, Utah, NAU, Nevada, UCLA, Arkansas, Virginia, Colorado, Nebraska, Yale, Oregon State, Vanderbilt, Boise State, ASU, and Arizona have extended offers to Brown.
