Best Class? After putting together the Pac-12's best recruiting class in 2012, UCLA is in position to repeat in 2013.
LaVine, from Bothell (Wash.), is a five-star prospect that headlines this class. A talented outside shooter, LaVine also has good size at 6-foot-3, long arms, athleticism and a pretty high basketball IQ. He has the chance to be a really good player for Ben Howland.

Allen comes from Salinas (Calif.) Palma and is a forward with a smooth shooting stroke who plays hard and is a bright kid.
UCLA still has three scholarships to give in the class and amongst the Bruins' top targets are Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco shooting guard Isaac Hamilton and Findlay Prep power forward Gavin Schilling.
Other Winners?Still competing with UCLA for the Pac-12's top class is Arizona, which currently has two 2013 commitments in Rondae Jefferson and Elliott Pitts.
Jefferson comes from Chester (Pa.) and is a big time athlete that can defend, get to the basket and pass it. Arizona had a huge need at small forward heading into 2013 and the Wildcats scored big with Jefferson.
Pitts is also a good pickup for Arizona, as he's a respectable shooter at about 6-foot-5 with a high basketball IQ. UA also has offers out to elite power forward Aaron Gordon and developing center Kameron Rooks.
