One of those highly-rated recruits is Atwater (Calif.) Buhach Colony offensive tackle Aaron Cochran.
Cochran is being recruited by some of the most storied programs in the country, but he is also very interested in the University of Arizona.
"I want to get down there for a visit," Cochran said. "The coaches have been in contact with me and they want me to get down there and check out the University.
"They're telling me a lot of stuff that is very appealing. They believe I can come in and compete for a spot immediately; they say the program is just getting started and that the school is beautiful."
Cochran recently visited Nebraska and is planning on visiting Oklahoma this week.
"The Nebraska visit was fun," Cochran said. "I'm trying to check out places I could see myself playing at. It's never too early to start looking at schools. It feels good because these schools all like my ability to engage my blocks and then power through to the next level."
Cochran has a plan for when he will announce his decision.
"We're in the high school playoffs right now, so I'm obviously not going to decide now," Cochran said. "The plan is to announce at the Armed Forces All-American game. That's a little ways off, but I want to be 100 percent sold on where I want to attend college.
"Until then my main goals are to continue working hard on the football field and working on doing quick jerk lifts to increase my strength and also avoid any kind of serious injury."
