Safety looking for a fit

Patrick Enewally is excited about being offered by Arizona. Read on to see how he thinks he fits, how he will approach the process, and more.

Arizona continues to look down the recruiting trail as it pursues talent for the future. Head coach Rich Rodriguez and his staff have done a fine job of familiarizing himself with the state of California, evaluating prospects all over the map.

One such prospect the Wildcats are chasing is safety Patrick Enewally from Cerritos (Calif.) Gahr. The 6-foot-2, 191-pounder has been talking with assistant Tony Dews and says the two have been able to establish a good relationship so far.

"It's a pretty good relationship," Enewally said. "I call him at least once a week and talk about stuff."

Enewally feels he could be a factor at Arizona, but is still open to any school that wants to give him an opportunity.

"I think I'd fit pretty well in that secondary," Enewally said. "But as of now I want to be open to every school."

The safety from Cerritos hasn't set up any visits currently, as he is still figuring out which schools he wants to take official visits to.

"I haven't planned anything because I am still trying to map out my visits and my schedule and everything." Enewally said.

The majority of the attention Enewally is drawing is from the west coast, but there is a school from the SEC that has shown interest as well.

"A bunch of schools from the Pac-12 and Tennessee," Enewally said.

With plenty of new schools showing attention and the chance for his recruitment to pick up, Enewally doesn't want to list any leaders at this point in time. He prefers to keep his recruitment wide open, so he can weigh all of his options.

"I don't have a list of leaders right now," Enewally said. "I am open to everyone."

What Enewally is looking for in a college isn't much different than what most kids want.

"I am looking for academics, education and tradition," Enewally said. "The chance for me to play early and win a national championship."

There is still a full season of high school football left for Enewally. With work still ahead and signing day months away, he isn't sure when he will decide which college he will attend.

"I am not sure about that yet," Enewally said. "I still have to think about it."

For now, Enewally is simply attempting to garner the attention from as many schools as he can. He wants to make the most educated decision he possible can.

"I want to get interest from a lot schools," Enewally said. "I want to weigh my options and see everything."
