6-foot-4, 240-pound Tempe (Ariz.) Corona del Sol defensive end Avery Moss
is considered to be one of the top players in the state.
would love to land him, it certainly is not alone and Moss is planning on taking his time with his recruitment.
"Recruiting is going pretty well right now," Moss said. "I have been talking with Arkansas a lot lately and then Nebraska offered me a week ago or so.
"I am hearing mostly from Nebraska, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, USC, Purdue, and Arkansas."
In terms of a favorite, Moss wants to do more research before he is ready to name one.
"Right now I would say that I am looking at them at an even scale," he said. "I want to get to know the coaches on a personal level before I make adjustments."
One of the main components of Moss's decision will be whether or not he wants to leave the state and as of now he remains undecided.
"I don't really want to stay in Arizona but both Arizona and Arizona State are good schools, so it is hard," Moss said. "However, at the same time I want to leave."
According to Moss, the biggest factor in his recruitment will be the education available.
"The biggest thing I will be looking at is education," he said. "I want to major in psychology and go to a school that has a good program."
Moss has no intentions of deciding soon, but does not want the recruiting process to become stressful.
"I want to make a decision before Signing Day," he said. "I do not want to stress myself, but think I can make it before the end of the season."
Defensive end Avery Moss holds numerous offers, but is staying open in his recruitment.
